Welcome to this week's Halton Hills housing update! Today I'm going to review January's numbers, as well as what happened over the last two weeks since I missed last week. So, looking at January's numbers, last January, in 2025, our average price was $1,075,000. This January, we're actually down about 4% to $1,032,000. So in November of 2024, we sold 64 units and our average price was $1,023,000. This November we sold 53 units but managed to stay on track with our average price which was $1,011,000. Welcome to this week’s Halton Hills housing update! I have April’s numbers to cover today so let’s get into that. So in April of 2024, our average price was $1,195,000 and we sold 82 units. This April, our pricing is down over 9% to $1,084,649 and we sold 53 units. So, the good news is that our average price is up over 14% since March and we are just above our January and February average prices which were $1,075,000 and $1,084,000. Unfortunately I do think this is one of the more negative updates I’ve had in a while, as things are just not good right now. Not a great update this week. I was sort of in a promising state last week where I was hoping that we were seeing the start of inventory coming down, but that was not the case.
