Welcome to this week’s Halton Hills housing update! So, I have April’s numbers to report, as well as what happened in Halton Hills this week. It’s felt kind of busy, so let’s get into it! So, in April of 2025, our average price was $1,084,000. This April, our average price is $1,024,000. We are technically down about five and a half percent, but the good news is that we are back to normalcy. We have been sitting between one and 1.1 million for the past 18ish months, but... Welcome to this week’s Halton Hills housing update. I missed last week so I’ll be re-capping what happened. We have definitely seen some shifts in the past two weeks. So, in Georgetown we had one week of nine sales and the next week had seven. Sixteen sales over a two week period is not a very high number, especially for April. Acton... [read more]

Welcome to this week's Halton Hills housing update. So, I have March's numbers, which are not great, as well as what has happened the last few weeks in Halton Hills. During my last update, I talked about how I think prices might be softening because we are seeing a ton of houses selling in our lower price points, and not many in our higher ones. That was correct and actually a lot worse than I thought it was going to be. So last year, our average price was $947,000. This year, it is... [read more]

Welcome to this week's Halton Hills housing update! I missed last week’s video so today I’ll be talking about the past two weeks. So, in Georgetown, we had nine sales each week, which is not a super high number but the market is moving and we have 11 properties that are conditionally sold. The market is definitely chugging along, but not at the usual rate for the spring. The good news though is that we are not being flooded by new inventory. Acton had two sales last week and one...
