Halton Hills Housing Update - Ep.272

Tuesday Mar 10th, 2026

Welcome to this week's Halton Hills housing update. March has had a pretty good start, with sales and a stable number of new listings. So looking at Georgetown, this week we had 12 sales, which is great! We also only had 13 new listings so the market feels balanced. Acton had four sales and one new listing. Four sales is pretty much the same number they’ve had since the beginning of the year, so that is great news for Acton. Glen Williams has been stable, with no sales or new listings... [read more]

Welcome to this week's Halton Hills housing update! It’s been a few weeks since my last update but I’m going to be recapping what happened in February and what happened last week in Halton Hills. So, looking at February numbers, in 2025, our average price was $1,075,000. This February, we are down about 6% to $1,011,000. For the last year and a bit we’ve been hovering between one and 1.1 million as our average price, and this month was no different. The market feels quiet... [read more]

Welcome to this week's Halton Hills housing update! It was a really odd week this week and I’m not really sure if it’s good or bad. So, in Georgetown last week, we only had four sales and five new listings. Both of those numbers are extremely low for February and I’m completely confused by these numbers. Acton and Glen Williams both had no sales and no new listings and the rural market had no sales and four new listings. This means that we only had four sales in all of... [read more]

Welcome to this week's Halton Hills housing update! Today I'm going to review January's numbers, as well as what happened over the last two weeks since I missed last week. So, looking at January's numbers, last January, in 2025, our average price was $1,075,000. This January, we're actually down about 4% to $1,032,000. This is not a massive drop and we did have a slower start to the year coming out of a really bad year, so I’m not overly disappointed. Something to note... [read more]

Welcome to this week's Halton Hills housing update! January is off to a slow start but inventory isn’t skyrocketing just yet. Georgetown had three sales this week which is really slow. Anything under five is very slow, so that’s not great, but it’s still early in the year. The bad news is that we had 10 new listings, which is a lot for January. We did have some more terminations that helped keep inventory at bay but we really want to see buyers out and new listings slow... [read more]
